CANADA
This brief presentation is dedicated to Mrs. Catherine Humeniuk M.Ed., the person who made me love Canada, especially Edmonton, Alberta.

 
Facts: 

In 1867 Canada became a self-governing dominion. Now, it is a federation of ten provinces and three territories.
          Government type: a parliamentary democracy, a federation and a constitutional monarchy.
          Capital: Ottawa
          Head of state: Queen Elizabeth II (since 1952)
          Population: 33,760,000
          Official language: English and French
          First inhabitants: the Inuit (Eskimo)
          First Europeans arrived in Newfoundland around AD 1,000.
          The English established here around 1610.
